I recently purchased the famous Ben Nye Banana Powder (shown in my previous post). I was so excited to finally get my hands on it because I have seen tons of beauty gurus use it on YouTube and I have heard a lot of good things about it. It was also $13.99, which I thought was such a great deal because you get 3 oz of it! I don’t think I will ever have to repurchase this again!
So now onto the review…
The first time I used this, I wasn’t exactly sure what I was doing. I didn’t know if I was supposed to use it on its own or with other products. So, after applying it, I didn’t think the Banana Powder was that great. However, after testing it out with different products I finally found my routine that works so great on me!

So as you can see, I use the Banana Powder for my under eye circles. I use it with two other products, but I am not going to mention them in this post because I plan on filming a video on my YouTube channel on how to conceal dark circles. However, the Banana Powder plays a very large role in concealing my dark circles. As you can see in my before photo, the darkness under my eyes is mainly around the inner part of them. This Banana Powder is extremely fine loose powder, so it is able to get into all the fine lines of the eyes. I apply a very small amount on the area I like to conceal and the dark purple disappears and transforms into my actual skin tone.
When I first bought this Banana Powder, I thought it would be way too dark for my skin. But, I realized that the darker shade of this powder is actually better since I use light concealers before applying the Banana Powder. Therefore, everything balances out and matches my skin tone in the end.
So yes, I do believe that this product is worth all the hype and I think it should be in every beauty junkie’s makeup collection! I think it is a good idea to test it out with different concealers because different products work in different ways with each other. I can’t wait to show you all my secret to concealing my dark circles! But for now, I just wanted you all to know about this amazing powder!
